Grant Webster is a versatile and accomplished photographer based in the Des Moines metro area, specializing in wildlife and landscape photography. His work reflects a deep appreciation for the natural world, combining patience, precision, and artistry to capture the quiet beauty of life in the wild.
Grant’s passion for photography began in 2012, shortly after graduating from Graceland University, when he embarked on his first trip abroad to Venezuela. That journey sparked a profound fascination with travel and visual storytelling. Over the next several years, his camera accompanied him throughout South America — from Bolivia and Colombia to Ecuador and Peru — and later across Europe, where he explored Austria, Germany, Italy, and Slovenia. These experiences profoundly shaped his creative vision, instilling in him an enduring desire to document the diversity and wonder of the world around him.
While nature remains his greatest source of inspiration, Grant’s expertise extends well beyond the outdoors. He is also a highly skilled wedding, food, and commercial photographer, bringing the same thoughtful approach and technical mastery to each project. His work has appeared in collaboration with brands such as Allrecipes, EatingWell, Better Homes & Gardens, Martha Stewart Living, and Wood Magazine.
With a portfolio that spans from untamed wilderness to refined commercial imagery, Grant Webster delivers photographs that are both visually striking and emotionally resonant — each one telling a story of connection, place, and perspective.
